MC602 Music Communication System



    The 602 system can be used to replace any of the older M&S 4 wire systems. Replacement of the master wall housing, and in some cases room station mounting rings is required. Because of its wide frequency range, the MC602 reproduces all the varied, subtle sounds of your favorite music. And with 30 watts of power, the system is strong enough to deliver every note, every passage clearly to remote speakers throughout the home. But high-quality music is just part of the 602 story:

    • Optional 5" and 8" remote scan speakers offer complete control of radio functions from any room in the house-station tuning, source selection, system volume control and radio on/off control.
    • Optional hand-held remote control can be used from anywhere in the house, or patio
    • 8AM/8FM station presets
    • Up to 15 room speakers, 3 door speakers
    • Built-in protection from lightning, surge damage
    • Self-diagnostics testing-single installer can check remote speakers, wiring, circuit boards, master unit.

    SECURITY

    • If your home is equipped with a security system, the MC602 can interface with it to activate the system's panic function from any new remote-scan speaker
    • Door speakers at entrances allow visitors to be identified before they are admitted
    • Elderly, bedridden can be monitored in their rooms
    • Family members can be alerted about severe weather, other emergencies
    • Outdoor speakers can be used to monitor suspicious sounds or people in yard, patio area

    HOME AUTOMATION

    • For convenience or additional security, the MC602 can even preform home automation functions. With the addition of a few X-10 modules, lights can be turned on - caused to flash on/off - from the master unit or any new remote scan speaker

    COMMUNICATIONS

    • Four position intercom selector switch - MONITOR / OFF / RADIO / INTERCOM ONLY
    • Any room being monitored has all incoming sounds blocked out - -an optional feature provides voice contact override
    • Communication is controlled by the person initiating the call - persons in other rooms or at door respond hands free
    • "End Call" feature - cancels voice communications with door, manually or automatically
    • Optional door/gate release can be activated from any indoor remote scan speaker
