The MC111M is an extremely versatile, high-performance residential system that provides flawless voice communication throughout the home. But its value doesn't end there. When the master is matched with the appropriate speakers described below, the system offers important additional features and services to the homeowner.

The MC111M communication network provides voice transmission to as many as 10 room stations plus two doors when installed with MS4XSC shielded cable. The front door speaker is identified with a three-note chime, the back with a single note. The chime is included at no additional cost. Key intercom features include:

• All-call intercom (message transmitted to all room stations simultaneously)
• Hands-free response to door speakers from room stations
• MC111DM version features electronic door release
• Both models include multi-level transzorbs that minimize damage from lightning, power surges
• X-10 modules placed near lights allow lights to be turned on - or flash on/off - from any N15D room speaker - an important security feature

An added family safeguard allows infants, elderly or bed-ridden occupants to be monitored in their rooms.

Although the MC111M does not have an AM/FM radio to originate music, its amplifier and speaker system can be used to distribute music played from an independent source - stereo components, MCD disc player or MCP cassette tape player.
